Green Hall groundbreaking heralds next phase of engineering complex

A groundbreaking ceremony for Preston M. Green Hall was held Friday, April 30. The building — the next phase of a state-of-the-art complex for the School of Engineering & Applied Science — is being named in honor of Green, a WUSTL alumnus and benefactor who died in 2003. FULL STORY

Exhibit explores photography's expansion

Beginning Friday, May 7, the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum will showcase Focus on Photography: Recent Acquisitions. The exhibition will include works by historical figures who helped define early photographic standards as well as by contemporary photographers working within what art historian George Baker has termed “photography’s expanded field.” FULL STORY

Bouchet Society inducts two

Two WUSTL doctoral students, Kelly Diggs-Andrews and Christie T. Spence, were inducted into the Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society earlier this spring at Yale University. The national society was established in 2005 in honor of Bouchet (right), the first African-American to earn a doctorate from an American university. FULL STORY
